Counselling and Psychotherapy offers you a space where you can explore issues that are troubling you. My way of working is safe and supportive, but I also hope to provide you with a new way of viewing things, or of behaving, which may at times stretch you. I am interested in the way formative experiences shape our thoughts, feelings and behaviour in the present, and also how we go about changing these so that we are less constrained by our past, and more energised and fulfilled in the present.

I have over 10 years of experience in the field of psychotherapy. I have worked in statutory services, charities, schools and in private practice; and am familiar with a range of presentations: anxiety, depression, addiction, relationship difficulties, low self esteem, anger management, work problems, bereavement, and sexual difficulties. I work short term and long term; with adults, adolescents, and couples. I have a particular interest in helping people with their relationships (both existing ones or the lack of relationships), as well as helping people with disordered eating or body image issues regain a better relationship with food and their bodies.

If you would like to arrange an initial session, please contact me through the “Contact” page.  My way of working is weekly sessions, for 50 minutes, at the same time each week.
