
I am a Counsellor and Psychotherapist with over 10 years experience in the field of psychotherapy. I provide psychotherapy, teaching, and Mindfulness group facilitation. I have worked for the NHS, the Metropolitan Police, Maudsley Hospital, the Mindful Project, and in schools. Currently I work for a University therapy service, I also run a private practice in Reading, and I teach Counselling in a Higher Education college. I am also a trained Mindfulness Teacher, and run groups and private sessions on Mindfulness.
I have a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy, and an Advanced Diploma in Couples Therapy. I also have a First Class Honours Degree from UCL as well as an Advanced Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My therapeutic approach is ‘integrative”, which means that I call upon different theories and modalities to meet the needs of my clients. I work with adults, adolescents, and couples.
I am accredited by the UKCP and abide by their Code of Ethics.
I am fluent in French, and can offer sessions in this language. I welcome clients from all sexual orientations, racial and cultural backgrounds. I am interested in issues of gender, disability, and the experience of minority communities, having worked in this field prior to training as a psychotherapist.
