Clinical Supervision

Supervision is, of course, an ethical requirement for all counsellors and psychotherapists. Moreover, it is a meaningful and key part of therapeutic practice. Therapists need a place where we can review our work, explore our ethical dilemmas, celebrate our breakthroughs and share with another other elements of this deep and meaningful work that we do.

As a highly experienced practitioner, I offer clinical supervision to counsellors, psychotherapists and other health practitioners. I supervise 1-1 therapy, couples work and family interventions; in private practice and within organisations. I am Integratively trained and supervise therapists from a range of modalities. I offer consultation on specialist trauma work, mindfulness-based interventions, short-term and open ended work, online and in-person. I can offer one-off consultations as well as ongoing supervision (fortnightly or monthly; online or in-person). I can support trainees and experienced practitioners, who both want to get into the nitty gritty of clinical practice as well as think more broadly about the direction of their career and the professional values and goals they hold.

Some of the areas we might cover are:

  • Ensuring that you are working safely and ethically
  • Supporting your professional growth and development
  • Exploring the impact of your work on you and your wellbeing
  • Thinking together about the challenges and dilemmas you may have in your practice
  • Strengthen and broaden your knowledge and expertise.
